Tyler Music Coterie plans January 10 performances
The Tyler Music Coterie will celebrate its 100th anniversary on Jan. 10 with performances and a reception, said June Shull, president.
The anniversary program set for 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 230 Rusk St., will feature performances by previous Tyler Music Coterie scholarship recipients: cellist Elizabeth Clark, pianist Emily Nicholoson and Daniel Hawkins, a French horn player, the announcement said.
The program also will include a performance by pianist Judy Bridewell Biondini, of Tyler.
The coterie is affiliated with the National Federation Music Clubs and sponsors monthly musical programs.
