The Jacksonville Police Department has obtained an aggravated robbery warrant for Jonathan Roshard Brown, of Jacksonville.
Ms. Barnett, a bank patron, was preparing to make a deposit when someone approached her car on the driver’s side and demanded money.
The woman refused to hand the money over and was then shot, Raissi has said.
According to a news release, she was shot without provocation or warning. The robber then fled the scene.
Detective Greg Compton said more than one robbery is involved, and authorities are not yet releasing which robbery the warrant is tied to.
He is 5-foot-10 and weighs about 205 pounds. Brown should be considered armed and dangerous.
The Jacksonville Police Department, the Tyler FBI office and the East Texas Safe Streets Gang Taskforce are conducting a joint investigation into these robberies.
