Police investigating multi-car vandalism
Tyler Police are investigating the vandalism of multiple new cars at the Crown Motor Co., 4716 Troup Highway.
Police said they responded to the location for the report of 13 new Volkswagens shot sometime during the night, early morning hours of Thursday.
“When employees showed up for work they discovered that an unknown suspect had shot thirteen vehicles that were parked in the front row facing Troup Highway. Employees also discovered three bullet holes in the building,” a press release stated.
The release added that investigators believe that the suspect had fired the weapon from a moving vehicle on Troup Highway as it passed the business.
