Leamon Keele Jr.
Leamon Gannaway Keele Jr., 85, longtime evangelist and retired Air Force master sergeant, passed away at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Service was at 1 p.m. Monday at College Hill Church of Christ, 7447 College Circle North, North Richland Hills.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Denison.
Leamon served as a volunteer chaplain at UT Hospital in Tyler for 16 years.
Memorials may be made to World Bible School.
Leamon was preceded in death by his parents, Leamon G. Keele Sr., and Alta Mae Howell Keele; his former wife, Jean Marshall; and two brothers, Howell and Asa Keele.
Survivors include his loving wife, Edith Keele; sister, Gene Holmes; brother, Dr. Bill Keele; children, Linda Stevens and husband Gary, Larry Keele and wife Janet, Leonard Keele and wife Kathy, Les Keele and wife Deatra, Becky and C.B. Subrahmanyam; and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren.
