Tyler police on lookout for ATM-robbery culprit
Tyler police on Saturday were searching for a man who committed a robbery at a local ATM.
Officers responded about 10:14 p.m. Friday to the 3300 block of Golden Road in reference to the robbery of an individual.
According to a news release, the victim told police that he pulled up to the ATM machine to complete a transaction and was approached by an unidentified black male.
The robber, described as 6 feet tall, 160 pounds wearing dark clothes and a mask, produced a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim, the release states. The robber fled on foot. Officers searched the area. No one was injured in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
