Frankston man killed in Tuesday accident
A Frankston man was killed Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident near Henderson.
The wreck happened after 3 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 2276, just north of Farm-to-Market Road 850.
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Zach Mills said Christopher Johnson, 23, was traveling south on Farm-to-Market Road 2276 in a 2008 Ford F-150 when he went off the road to the right, overcorrected and then struck a bridge railing.
After the vehicle struck the railing, it flipped over, coming to rest on the top side facing north, he said.
Johnson was killed on impact. No other injuries were reported.
Mills said he is not sure what might have caused the accident, but it was not raining at the time.
