Dillon Todd Shelton
Services for Dillon Todd Shelton, 20, of Tyler will be on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at 10 a.m. at CrossPointe Community Church with Pastor Johnathan Ellison officiating.
Burial will follow in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Dillon passed away Dec. 8, 2012. He was born April 9, 1992, in Amarillo.
Dillon graduated from Randall High School in Amarillo in 2010. He was attending Tyler Junior College, working at Bodacious BBQ in Tyler. Dillon was very involved in the Revamped Young Adult Group at CrossPointe Community Church. Dillon loved sharing his salvation with others and he loved his family and friends. He enjoyed sports, basketball and the freedom he felt when riding his motorcycle.
Dillon was preceded in death by his uncle, Ricky Shelton.
He is survived by a wonderful loving family including his parents, Kevin and Tina Shelton of Tyler; grandparents, Dave and Patty Shelton of Amarillo; uncle, Davy Shelton of Bedford; brother, Justin Shelton of Tyler; sisters, Ashley Dickens of Tyler, Gentry Shelton of Gilmer and Taylor Dickens of Whitehouse; by special relative, DeLynn Stone of Gilmer; and several cousins.
Pallbearers will be Justin Shelton, Luke Wilabay, Lance Wilabay, Doug Sherby, Skylar Ford, Tanner Bailey and Bryan Waters.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Revamped Young Adult Group at CrossPointe Community Church.
Visitation is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Highway, in Tyler.
