Kara is a 10-month-old female Australian shepherd mix, is available for adoption at the Humane Society of East Texas. Kara knows basic commands, is crate trained and loves to ride in the car. She is very high energy, friendly and playful. Australian shepherds are intelligent and easily trained and are exceptional family dogs. Kara is spayed, current on vaccination has been microchipped and comes with 30 days of free pet health insurance. Adop-tion hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
