'Christmas Tea' program slated Sunday at Holt House center

Holt House, a senior citizens activity center at 709 S. Bois d’Arc Ave., will have its annual holiday open on Sunday.

The “Christmas Tea at the Holt House” program from 2 to 4 p.m. will include the Rose City Men’s Quartet singing Christmas carols, the reading of poetry and other musical entertainment, according to information from the center.
The house, which serves as a place where seniors gather for lunch and to play games, is decorated for the holidays with Christmas trees in every room, according to the announcement.
Other businesses and groups in and near the Brick Street Historical District will also host special events Sunday afternoon.
