A man suspected of shooting two people, killing one and injuring another, inside a Tyler nightclub Monday morning has turned himself into authorities.
A man suspected of shooting two people, killing one and injuring another, inside a Tyler nightclub Monday morning has turned himself into authorities.
The Tyler Police Department released a statement saying they were notified around 3 p.m. Thursday that Marquel Jermon Scott, 32, of Tyler turned himself into the Smith County Jail.
Tyler police spokesman Don Martin said, on Monday, the shooting happened about 2 a.m. inside the Hyena's Clubhouse, 2126 N. Grand Ave.
Keeston Dwone Fields, 26, of Tyler, died from gunshot wounds, and John T. Woods, 33, of Tyler, remains in critical condition.
Scott was wanted on one count of homicide and one count of aggravated assault. His combined bond was set at $1.25 million, according to a statement the department released Monday.
