Tylerite Martha Tucker celebrates 102nd birthday
Martha Louise Tucker was honored recently on her 102nd birthday at Meadow Lake Retirement Center, where she lives, according to information from a friend.
Mrs. Tucker was born Nov. 11, 1910, in Youngstown, Ohio, and moved to Tyler in 1945 with her husband, Ralph, and her son, David, both of whom are deceased. Her nearest relatives are a granddaughter in Houston and a sister in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Tucker retired from East Texas Medical Center after 24 years and is a member of First Baptist Church. She likes reading, puzzles and visiting with friends.
