Wells Fargo Advisors help deliver care packages to overseas military
Staff Reports

For the third consecutive year, Wells Fargo Advisors has sent care packages to deployed members of the United States Armed Forces around the world through an initiative called Operation American Pride.

This year, East Texas Copy Systems offered to assist with delivery.

“We cannot thank East Texas Copy Systems enough for their help,” said Greg Strnadel, senior vice president and complex manager of Wells Fargo Advisors, in a news release. “To have people in our community willing to pull together and support the Operation American Pride campaign is such a blessing. ...”

Operation American Pride began as an effort in East Texas and now has expanded into Arkansas.

The initiative has sent thousands throughout the three years. Almost 1,000 packages were delivered to Fort Hood Tuesday.

“We are so honored to assist in such an important task, especially during the holiday season,” said Greg Walker, president of East Texas Copy Systems, in the news release. “So often it seems the appreciation for our troops is minimized during this busy time of year. So we thought what better way to say thanks to our soldiers than by joining with Wells Fargo Advisors and get these packages delivered.”
