Knox R. Mitchell
Funeral services for Knox R. Mitchell, age 92, of Frankston are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Autry Funeral Home chapel, Frankston.
Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Frankston.
Mr. Mitchell passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, in Tyler.
He was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Anderson County.
Mr. Mitchell was a rancher, served in the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the Church of Christ in Frankston.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Mitchell; son, Roger Mitchell; brothers, Dennis Mitchell and Fred Mitchell; and sister, Sally Mitchell.
Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Lang and husband Earl of Frankston; sister, Velma L. Smith of Katy; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Autry Funeral Home, Frankston.
