College fair Nov. 27 at TJC

The annual Tyler Area College Fair will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 27 on the Tyler Junior College campus.
The event will be in Gentry Gym, inside the Ornelas Health & Physical Education Center.
The Ornelas HPE Center is at the corner of Apache Pass and Palmer Avenue on the TJC main campus.
Universities from Texas and several surrounding states will be present to meet with high school students about college enrollment, according to a TJC news release.

To date, schools scheduled to attend are: Abilene Christian University, Austin College, Dallas Baptist University, Hardin-Simmons University, Howard Payne University, Mississippi State University, Sam Houston State University, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas State Technical College, Texas State University-San Marcos, Texas Tech University, Texas Wesleyan University, University of Alabama, University of Arkansas, University of Houston, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, University of North Texas, The University of Oklahoma and The University of Texas at Tyler.
The TJC admissions office will be on site to answer questions and distribute recruiting material, according to the news release.
The event is held with the assistance of the Tyler Independent School District and is part of the statewide Texas Association of College Recruiters and Admissions Officers.
