The United Way of Smith County wants to hear from county residents.
The survey asks us to identify needs we believe are not being met. It wants to know if we feel safe, if good childcare is available and our possible concerns about access to good education.
It asks what types of healthcare services we use and which agency provides these essential services.
The survey asks us to share information about our age, race and the zip code. You will not asked to give your name or personal identification information.
About 400 people who stopped at the United Way’s booth during the East Texas State Fair and completed the survey. Now the agency hopes more people will take the time to complete the short survey online.
The report will be made available to city leaders, county leaders, nonprofits and other funding entities to use when making planning and development decisions.
To take the survey, go to the website unitedwaysmithcounty.org. and look for the Community Needs Survey at the orange tab on the homepage.
