Habitat for Humanity of Smith County will hold its third annual benefit concert, “A Christmas Spectacular” on Thursday, featuring Christmas music by the Tyler Civic Chorale and a combined choir made up of students from All Saints Episcopal School, The Brook Hill School, TK Gormon Catholic School and Grace Community School.
The first portion of the concert will feature the choirs, while the main part of the concert will feature Maxwell on the organ. The more than 100 person choir will perform “The Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel's “Messiah” as the finale.
“It's going to be a very exciting evening featuring a variety of styles and genres, and a lot of fun,” Maxwell said. “I really hope people will take advantage of the wonderful Christmas music and reach out to help others with the very worthy cause of supporting Habitat for Humanity.”
Tickets for the concert are $20. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Smith County.
