Good Shepherd plans annual fund dinner
Good Shepherd School's Annual Fund Dinner and Silent Auction is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The event will be at The Potpourri House, 3320 Tro-up Highway, in Tyler.
Thomas Smith will be the guest speaker.
One of the silent auction items will be a signed baseball and photo of Chicago White Sox pitcher Philip Hu-mber, who became the 21st player in baseball history to pitch a perfect game on April 21.
A Carthage native, he and his family reside in Tyler during the off season. He attended and played baseball at Rice University and wore the No. 21 jersey.
