The New Orleans-themed Mistleteaux & Magic event will continue this weekend with hours of shopping, food and prizes.

"The food, decorations and vibe will be a salute to one of the best cities in the world," said Ginger Haberle, chairwoman of the holiday market set for Thursday through Saturday at Harvey Convention Center.

Shopping hours are noon to 9 p.m. today and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Admission to the market is $8 each day.

The market will feature more than 90 vendors and specialty boutiques. Among the items awaiting shoppers are gourmet foods and candies, antiques, gifts, holiday decorations for the home and garden, clothing, housewares, accessories and jewelry.

The market annually attracts about 12,000 shoppers. It is the largest fundraiser for Junior League of Tyler, the community-service organization of women. Last year's event raised more than $300,000, which the Junior League used to fund special projects, such as its Girl Power Summit and Reading Camp and to help nonprofit organizations.

The "Ooh La La Ladies Brunch" will take place 9:30 a.m. to noon today.

Tickets to the brunch cost $35.

The brunch includes a style show featuring clothing from Bridgette's and Harley's, food by Savoie's Catering of Shreveport, a silent auction and provides a chance to shop before the doors open to the public.

The "Family Fete" style show is set for 6:30 p.m. today. Style show will feature fashions by Haute Totz, Spinout and High Cotton.

Admission is $8.

The "Jazz and Juice" brunch takes place 9:30 a.m. to noon Friday.

Music will be provided by the Tyler Junior College Jazz Ensemble. A brunch of New Orleans cuisine will be catered by Cedric Fletcher of Fat Catz of Tyler.

Admission is $20 per person and door prizes will be awarded throughout the brunch.

The Pinkies Up Mother-Daughter High Tea and Style Show is set from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday.

The style shows will be presented by Fickle Baby and Mary V's by Shelby. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children under 12.

"Mothers and daughters of all ages are invited to sip tea and nibble scones and engage in one of New Orleans most beloved and fashionable pastimes," organizers said.

Susan Robinson Fine Jewelry has donated a $10,000 shopping spree as a drawing prize. The tickets to the drawing cost $10, three for $25 and 12 for $100. The drawing will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
