Cherokee County Sheriff investigates alleged stabbing

Cherokee County Sheriff's Department investigators are on scene of an alleged stabbing.

Cherokee County Sheriff James Campbell confirmed it occurred on the east side of the Shady Brook Community, near Bullard.
Justin Walker, a firefighter with the Bullard Volunteer Fire Department, said the department was called at 1:40 p.m. to assist Lake Palestine East Volunteer Fire Department and EMS in setting up a helicopter landing site to transport the victim from San Saba Street.
Campbell said no additional details were available to him at this time, but said investigators are searching for a known suspect.
