Victim of Canton 18-wheeler crash identified

The truck driver who died when his 18-wheeler crashed into the Canton Municipal complex has been identified as 83-year old W.C. Brooks of Athens.
The truck driver who died when his 18-wheeler crashed into the Canton Municipal complex has been identified as 83-year old W.C. Brooks of Athens.
Jean Dark, a public information officer for the Department of Public Safety, confirmed the man's identity but said the department has not pinpointed where the man was headed when the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon.
She said the incident is still under investigation and reports are not finalized.
