Man faces possible life sentence for sexual assault of a child
David Burnett Williams, 48, faces up to life in prison if he is found guilty of five counts of sexual assault of a child.
He is accused of touching an 8-year old girl inappropriately and engaging in sexual acts with her repeatedly on Oct. 31,2011.
The child's mother testified in the 114th District Court this morning that she "saw red" and grew very angry when she learned from the child about the abuse.
Testimony is continuing.
