Tyler planning and zoning officials recommend alcohol-related ordinance changes
Tyler’s Planning and Zoning Commission agreed today to recommend changes to the Unified Development Code, in the event residents vote today to approve alcohol sales.
Only two people spoke during a special public hearing on the proposed changes.
Officials want to make sure city ordinances are updated so that if voters approve legalized alcohol sales, the new retail activities are a good fit for Tyler.
The Tyler City Council will consider the changes in its Nov. 13 meeting, if the measure passes.
