Ride for the Cure raises $21,400 for Komen
Ride for the Cure held Oct. 13 at the Tarrant Ranch in Bullard raised $21,400 for the Tyler Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the group announced.
“We are thrilled at the support and growth of this event. We had a safe and successful ride with more riders and made a great profit for a cause that’s very important to me,” Louise Hagen, Ride for the Cure chairman and breast cancer survivor, said in a prepared statement.
The event included trail rides, an auction and contests.
The 2013 Ride for the Cure will be held on Oct. 12 at Tarrant Ranch in Bullard
