Conference for nonprofit professionals set Friday
The first East Texas conference for nonprofit professionals will take place on Friday at the Green Acres Lighthouse Center in Tyler.

The keynote speaker will be Paul Vitale, founder of Vital Communications, Inc. Vitale travels worldwide speaking to organizations about the importance of a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

The Bright Ideas for Success Conference is hosted by the Nonprofit Development Center of United Way of Smith County.

Attendees will learn new nonprofit best practices and emerging trends, find opportunities for networking and collaborating with others and share ideas and resources.

Those who are unable to attend the entire conference are encouraged to attend the luncheon and/or Super Session, which will be conducted by Vitale immediately following the luncheon.

The lunch session, “Energize the Enthusiasm that Exists Within,” is from 11:45 a.m. — 1:00 p.m., and the Super Session, “It’s Your Life — Dominate It,” is from 1:30 — 2:30 p.m. The cost to attend the luncheon is $29, $49 for both sessions.
