Texas fishing report
NORTHEAST
ATHENS: Water clear, 69-73 degrees; 3.40' low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged soft plastics and spinnerbaits around shallow cover. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are slow on prepared bait.
BOB SANDLIN: Water clear; 68-74 degrees; 5.13' low. Black bass are good on white spinnerbaits and shad pattern shallow crankbaits. Crappie are good on jigs over brush piles. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines with cut shad.
CADDO: Water stained; 69-74 degrees; 1.01' low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged soft plastics in green pumpkin or watermelon red. Black and blue flipping jigs are working as well. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on cut bait and trotlines.
