Nashville singer-songwriters slated to perform Nov. 17 at Liberty Hall
Staff Reports
Lierty Hall plans to present an “Evening in the Round,” featuring three of Nashville's most talented singer-songwriters.
Music artists Linda Davis, Lang Scott and Bill Whyte plan to offer an intimate session of acoustic music hits injected with humor and down-home appeal.
The occasion begins at 8 p.m. Nov. 17.
Ms. Davis was originally labeled a “song stylist,” but her ability to interpret a song made her one of the hottest recording session singers in Nashville, performing with Reba McEntire to earn a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Collaboration and playing to sold-out crowds alongside Garth Brooks, George Strait and Kenny Rogers.
Scott has long been one of Nashville's most consistent and sought-after musicians and vocalists, touring with Garth Brooks, Kenny Rogers and the Statler Brothers. He was the first National Champion of TNN's “You Can Be a Star” and received a recording contract with MCA Records.
Whyte's unique blend of humorous and twisted songs such as “Trailer Park Sexy” and “Retired” always generates howls of laughter, earning him a Country Music Award for Best Large Market Personality. As a morning radio personality, he is heard in Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Indianapolis and Nashville.
Tickets are $30 for adults and may be purchased online for $30 each at www.liber tytyler.com or at the door for $35 each, cash only.
