UT Tyler's Patriot Preview Day Nov. 10
The University of Texas at Tyler will have a Patriot Preview Day for prospective students and their families next month.
The event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 10, according to a university news release.
Check-in and on-site registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the UT Tyler Herrington Patriot Center.
Activities include campus tours, open and academic sessions and the university showcase, according to the news release.
Open sessions provide guidance in the overall transition to collegiate life. Academic sessions allow prospective students to receive information about degrees offered in academic departments.
The university showcase gives parents and students opportunities to meet UT Tyler faculty and student organization representatives, according to the news release.
Participants also will hear about UT Tyler's many opportunities for student involvement such as Greek Life, student leadership, honors and career exploration.
