Caddo Lake focus of Audubon meeting
Carl Turner, of Marshall, will speak on the history, flora and fauna of Caddo Lake at a meeting of Tyler Audubon Society.
The meeting is open to all and set for 6:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at Pollard United Methodist Church, 3030 New Copeland Road.
Turner, a retired pediatrician, also has degrees in biology and ecology and has studied the lake for decades, according to information from Joseph Marsey, club member.
Birding field trips also will be discussed, according to the announcement.
