Bullard band earns top honor in UIL marching contest

The Bullard High School Panther Marching Band received First Division “Superior” ratings from all three judges at the Region 21 University Interscholastic Le-ague Marching Contest Oct. 20 at Longview High School.
The Bullard High School Panther Marching Band received First Division “Superior” ratings from all three judges at the Region 21 University Interscholastic Le-ague Marching Contest Oct. 20 at Longview High School.
This is the first of three steps to a UIL Sweepstakes Award, according to a band news release.
The UIL Sight-reading Contest and UIL Concert Contest are in April.
The Panther Band, for the first time ever, advanced to the UIL Area C Marching Contest at Stephen F. Austin State University today.

The public is invited to hear the award-winning Bullard High School Band at two upcoming concerts.
The Veterans Day Program will be at 9:45 a.m. Nov. 9 and the annual Christmas Concert will be at 7 p.m. Dec. 6.
Both concerts are in the Audry Owens Auditorium at Bullard High School. Gary Jordan directs the Panther Band.
