Jacksonville police seek help in identifying man believed responsible for 3 robberies
The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating three aggravated robberies that may be related, detectives announced this afternoon. In all three robberies, stores were robbed by an unknown black male, who was wearing a jacket and an unknown article obscuring his face, according to a news release.

The robber left with an undisclosed amount of money each time, the release states. No clerks were injured during the robberies.

The first robbery occurred in the early evening hours of Sunday, Oct. 14 at CJ’s Quick Stop, 613A E. Rusk St.; the second robbery occurred in the early morning hours of Monday, Oct. 22, at J & J Food Mart, 1512 S. Jackson St., and J & J Food Mart was robbed again yesterday.

Jacksonville Police are now asking the public to help them identify this unknown robber.

The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of actor or actors.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Jacksonville Police Department immediately at 903-586-2546. Detectives James Oden & Greg Compton are investigating the robberies.
