Hundreds make events possible
Hundreds of volunteers make the Texas Rose Festival possible. Their efforts are guided by the Texas Rose Festival Association officers and staff.

THE STRUTTERS IS the volunteer gorup in charge of organizing and then staging the annual Texas Rose Festival Parade that takes place the Saturday morning of the festival. This year the officers of the Strutters include (from left) Kevin Meyer, Scott Knight, Richard McKeller, Fred Haberle, Alan Wharton, Tab Lawhorn and Will Knous.
They are assisted by Beth Whitney, administrative assistant, and Julie Dawson, the executive director of the festival.
