'Bulb Hunter' set to address Tyler Woman's Forum
Tyler Woman’s Forum will hear from an expert on heirloom plant bulbs when it meets this month.
Chris Wiesinger, who is known as “The Bulb Hunter,” will share stories of acquiring heirloom bulbs from across the South, the announcement said.
The Forum will meet at 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 23 at the Woman’s Building, 911 S. Broadway Ave., for lunch and then the presentation.
After graduating from Texas A&M University with a degree in horticulture, Wiesinger emerged as an expert on the use of heirloom bulbs in landscaping. He will have copies of his book “Heirloom Bulbs for Today” and a selection of bulbs for sale, the announcement said.
Those who plan to attend are asked to contact Eileen Kosnik at 903-535-7864 or via email, ekosnik@mac.com. Complimentary valet parking will be available.
