Criminal mischief under investigation by Tyler police

Tyler police are investigating multiple cases of criminal mischief after someone spray-painted vehicles, residences and businesses.

Don Martin, Tyler police spokesman, said police be-gan receiving calls from residents in the area of the West-Southwest Loop 323 about 8 a.m. Thursday reporting the damage.

“Numerous reports were called into police around 8 a.m. reporting their vehicle, residence or business had been spray-painted with orange paint. Most of the complainants were able to remove the paint from their vehicles and business signs,” he said.

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed in this case or any felony case.
