Master Gardeners’ Conference, Bulb Sale takes place Saturday
Smith County Master Gardeners’ Fall Garden Conference and Bulb Sale, “Bulbs and More,” takes place on Saturday at Harvey Convention Center, 2000 W. Front St., in Tyler.
This free event begins with the conference at 9 a.m. The featured speaker will be Dave Whitinger, owner and operator of All Things Plants. Whitinger is a former president of the Cherokee County Master Gardeners and creator of the website AllThingsPlants.com.
Merlin Eck will give an overview of the plants which will be available for sale.
The plant sale is set from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
A list of items that will be offered is on the Smith County Master Gardener website, scmg.tamu.edu under the Coming Events tab.
