Temps remain mild
A weak cold front that pushed south of I-20 Wednesday afternoon will return to the north as a warm front today. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s through the middle of next week. Lows will stay in the 60s. There will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday night and Sunday as an upper-level low pressure area over the West Coast moves across the central plains.
That system will drive a cold front into North Texas, but the front will slow as it approaches East Texas and move back to the north without bringing us any significant change in temperatures.before returning from the southeast 5 to 10 mph Friday.
