Cool air arrives
Fall has officially found its way to East Texas. The cold front that came through last night has ushered a much cooler airmass into our area, which will stick around for another day or so. Along with the cooler temperatures will come clouds, patchy light rain and a chilly breeze. All of these factors will make it feel a bit on the cool side today and especially tonight. Rainfall totals will be light. This weekend will look nothing like last weekend’s rain event. We will see the coolest temps since late April on Sunday morning, when we are expected to drop below the 50 degree mark - into the upper 40's. Don't look for it to recover much above the mid 60's on Sunday, either. Temps should get back above the 70 degree mark by Monday.
