Tyler ISD bus collides with SUV; no injuries reported
Five Tyler ISD students made it home safely Wednesday after a minor wreck in a neighborhood east of Hogg Middle School.
About 4 p.m., a bus driver was making a right turn from East Dodge Street onto South Donnybrook Avenue when it collided with a 2003 Dodge Durango, which the bus driver believed was turning right, Tyler ISD spokeswoman Laura Jackson said.
The district sent another bus, and it took home five students from Hogg Middle School. None of the students were injured.
Ms. Jackson said the incident will be documented and placed in the bus driver’s file.
