Tyler police investigating Sunday shooting; victim stable

Tyler police responding to a call of reported gunshots in the 600 block of South August Avenue Sunday morning found a 22-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.
Police identified the man as Dasha Webb, who was in stable condition Sunday afternoon.
"It is believed the assailants entered the victim's residence at 628 S. August Ave., through the front door and fired several rounds striking the victim," a news release stated.
However, major crimes detectives do not believe the shooting was a random act of violence.
