Dustin Rust trial reset to Wednesday
The trial date for Dustin Rust has been reset to Wednesday, according to information received from Judge Jack Skeen's office. The trial, which had been scheduled to begin this morning, was reset because the trial for Kenneth and Shelley Walker is still taking place in the 241st.
According to the Smith County Judicial website, two more misdemeanor charges were filed against Rust.
One charge is a class A misdemeanor of theft of service. The other is for a class b misdemeanor of theft of property.
