Music Coterie holds program at Christ Church
Tyler Music Coterie is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the nave of Christ Episcopal Church, 118 S. Bois d’ Arc Ave, said information from Maggi Becknell, publicity chairman.
The program, a benefit for the Christ Episcopal Choir School, includes a group sing with piano arrangement by June Shull featuring soprano soloist Elizabeth Stricklin; a performance by the quartet of violinist Ruth Morrow, violist Shane Almendarez, cellist Christian Zwieb and flautist Linda Gross; and a performance by Christina Harmon, assistant organist at Christ Church.
The program also will include presentations by Chris Shull, manager of public relations for the Dallas Symphony and son of Coterie President June Shull, and Diane Keesey, executive director of the Christ Episcopal Choir School, the announcement said.
Coterie members also will be asked to contribute to a scholarship provided by the school, the announcement said.
Program leader is Myra Brown. The meeting is open to the public.
