Police seek help in locating missing Grand Saline 17-year-old
Police were asking for help in finding a 17-year-old Grand Saline resident missing since last week.

Charity Lajean Pulley has been missing since Sept. 18. She is a white female, 4-feet-11 inches tall and weighs 115 pounds.

She has long, wavy brown hair and brown eyes and wears prescription glasses or sometimes contacts.

However, she left her glasses at home, according to a news release from the Grand Saline Police Department.

She likely will have to fill her prescription for glasses or contacts at some point, according to police. She also left her cell phone at home so it cannot be used to locate her.

Through her Internet usage, police learned that she chatted with people around the United States.

Their concern is she may have met up with someone who intended to harm her.

Charity is not in any criminal trouble with the police. However, the police want to know that she is safe and out of danger.

A phone call, email, letter or video indicating she is safe, and where she wants to be will not suffice as proof. Police want to contact her in person to verify her identify.

She is considered an adult and will not be forced to return home against her will. Her parents and police just need to know that she is safe and OK, according to the news release.

If anyone has information about Charity’s whereabouts, they should contact their local police department or sherriff’s office.
