There’s truth in Romney’s words about ‘47 percent’, September 26
Mitt Romney’s comment about 47 percent of the voters of this country not paying income tax is very revealing not only of our current declining economy but the demographic changes occurring as a larger percentage of the population is retired or will soon.

This percentage of non-taxpaying voters is alarming and is especially alarming for conservatives who believe taxes are too high and government entitlements and benefits are too plentiful. The 47 percenters are an ever-growing voting block for big government, wealth redistributionist liberals like President Obama. Mitt Romney represents those who believe in self-reliant, rugged individualism and who believe helping those in need but doing so through their own benevolence, not redistributive government programs that are truly unconstitutional in most respects and have led to multiple generations of recipients.

Wake up, America, to the real problem and not some out-of-context video secretly recorded at a fund raiser. In politics it’s called a distraction to avoid the real issues.
