Symphony League ready for Game Day fundraiser
“American Musical” is the theme of the Women’s Symphony League Game Day Fundraiser.

The League holds this fundraiser in support of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra and music education in East Texas, said Melanie Seidel, who is serving as the event chairman along with Teresa Bloch.

Separate events are set for Sept. 11 and Sept. 13,

Bunko Night will take place 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Potpourri House, 3320 Troup Highway Tyler.

A day of games – including bridge and Mahjongg – and a “Queen of the Court” tennis tournament will take place 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 13 at Willow Brook Country Club in Tyler.

Meals are provided at each event and tickets are available for $40 at the door and online. The events are open to all.
At both events will be drawing tickets for $5 to win prizes.
