Patrick Lee McSwane
Services for Patrick Lee McSwane, 29, of Tyler, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at Green Acres Baptist Church chapel with the Rev. Bryan Grant officiating.
A private burial will be held under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
Patrick passed away Aug. 31, 2012. He was born Dec. 7, 1982, in Tyler to Doug and Mary Mo Jones McSwane.
Patrick was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He graduated high school from All Saints Episcopal School and then attended Texas Tech. He graduated from University of Texas at Tyler and was an honor student in psychology during his undergraduate work. Patrick loved MMA, Texas Tech and his family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George T. Jones, and his paternal grandmother, Geneva McSwane.
Patrick is survived by his loving family including his parents, Doug and Mo McSwane; grandfather, Douglas R. McSwane Sr.; grandmother, Peggy Jones; brother, Ryan McSwane; and sister, Marcie McSwane; and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan McSwane, Daniel Murphy, Clay Heaton and Blain Babineau.
