Tyler hurricane shelter plans to close

Evacuees who fled to Tyler ahead of Hurricane Isaac have checked out of the American Red Cross shelter at St. Louis Baptist Church in Tyler to return home. With no new clients arriving or anticipated, the shelter will close at 7 p.m. according to Tyler Red Cross press release.
