Gilmer-Atlanta game is on tonight
The Gilmer-Atlanta game is a go Thursday night at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium.
Tyler ISD athletic director Rod Kaspar said the game will go on as scheduled. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
Officials met on Thursday and took into account of the path of Tropical Storm Isaac and the possibility of rain.
The game is part of the Trinity Mother Frances Classic. The other games on tap are John Tyler vs. Lufkin (7:30 p.m. Friday), Wills Point vs. Pittsburg (11 a.m. Saturday) and Robert E. Lee vs. Sulphur Springs (7:30 p.m. Saturday).
