Pet of the Week, August 19
Artie is a 2-year-old neutered male Chihuahua mix. He is available for adoption at the Humane Society of East Texas. Artie is a little guy — he only weighs 7 pounds and is fully grown, current on all vaccinations and has been microchipped for identification purposes. Artiee is very energetic and playful. When Artie is adopted, he will receive 30 days of free pet health insurance.

Adoption hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The agency is closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. The Humane Society of East Texas is a selective admission, no kill animal sanctuary dedicated to finding quality homes for quality pets.
