Apache Belles kick off 65th anniversary Friday
The Tyler Junior College Apache Belles will kick off their 65th anniversary year with the annual formal announcements event on Friday.
The free public event provides an opportunity for the college to unveil this year’s team.
The college will introduce each member of the 2012-13 Apache Belle line and the team will perform this year’s high kick routine in public for the first time.
Freshman members will receive the Apache Belle necklace and officers for the upcoming year will be announced.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Wise Auditorium and is expected to last for more than one hour.
This year’s Apache Belle sophomores are: Rebecca Barnell, Denton; Elizabeth Beaver, Arlington; Courtney Bohac, Tomball; Shelby Car-ter, Weatherford; Brooke Dennis, Forney; Micaela DiFonzo, Flower Mound; Brittni Gallant, Hallsville; Brittnee Hayes, Kingwood; Kimberly Howard, Shepherd; Victoria Huizar, Saginaw; Mallorie Muse, Hallsville; Tiffany Natale, Pearland; Chara Norman, Arlington; McKenzie Ray, Cedar Hill; Alexandria Sosa, San Antonio; Rachel Stavinoha, Hallsville; Brooke Tort, Arlington; and Skyelar Whiddon, Austin.
