One suspect caught, another sought in South Tyler robbery
One man is jailed and police are searching for a second man after a tip helped authorities in the Friday morning robbery of a Tyler woman.

Tyler Police Spokesperson Don Martin said a tipster provided information on the license plate of the suspect vehicle; investigators were able to determine the identification of the suspects in the robbery at 2525 Shiloh Road.

Martin said police arrested the first suspect, Tevin Montravian Dorsey, 21, of Tyler. Dorsey was located at the Economy Inn on Mineola Highway Saturday morning where he was taken into custody for the robbery.

The second suspect is identified as David Eugene Ford, 21, of Tyler.

Investigators have not been able to locate Ford at his time and are actively seeking his whereabouts. An arrest warrant has been issued for Ford for aggravated robbery.
