More heat ahead
A warm front will move across the area bringing breezy south winds to the area today. Moisture will also be increasing as temperatures stay hot. Another cold front will be approaching the area tonight and will provide another chance of showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures will remain hot for the beginning of the new week with slight chances of showers and thunderstorm.
A stronger front is expected for next weekend and bringing cooler temperatures and better rain chances.
However, by Sunday a very low-end chance for some afternoon Showers will return to especially the Eastern Counties of East Texas - eventually spreading into the entire area by Monday afternoon. Tropical Storm Ernesto will continue to be watched over the weekend, and should be approaching the Yucatan by early this coming week. From there it's anyone's guess as to where it will end up by late next week.
